22ХГНМА steel is used: for manufacturing of parts of drilling and roller cone bits, and other parts of mining-metallurgical and oil production equipment; the clutches of the drilling bits with the bearing slide by means of hot forming.

According to TU 3-35-79 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 22ХГНМА-Ш. The presence of residual tungsten in steel up to 0.20%, titanium to 0.030% and vanadium to 0.050% is not a defect. In the finished rolled steel, subject to compliance with the requirements of the specifications, deviations in the chemical composition from the standards are allowed in accordance with GOST 4543.

On the other 3-35-79 bars hot rolled tested ha hot upset according to GOST 8817 bars up to 80 mm inclusive. In upset samples should be free of tears and cracks. In the bars section over 80 mm of precipitation satisfactory results guaranteed. |
Macrostructure and pollution |
Macrostructure of steel ready rods checked for breaks and pickled Templeton and must meet the requirements of GOST 4543. Upon detection placenow steel is rejected. Evaluation of the macrostructure of the etched on Templeton is on scales GOST 10243. Steel is controlled on the contamination of non-metallic inclusions, the content of which is determined according to GOST 1778 for 6 samples and should not exceed the contents in points (average/maximum): - Point-FROM - to 1,0/2,0; - Stroke OS - 1,5/2,0; Fragile CX - 1.5 mm/2.0 mm; Plastic SP - 1,0/2,0; - non-deformable SN - 1,0/2,0; - Sulfides C - 1,5/2,0. |

Particularities of production of goods |
On the other 3-35-79 bars are supplied in annealed or tempered condition with a hardness on the Brinell hardness of not more than 269 HB (indentation diameter not less than 3.7 mm). |
