As metallurgical impurities, phosphorus and sulfur are also present in the composition of steel 35HGSA (the permissible percentage - not more than 0.03%).
Steel 35hgsa of similar composition is produced in Poland according to the norms of the national standard PN. In addition in the composition of this steel may be present traces of vanadium, tungsten and copper.

Properties and application
Additionally alloyed with silicon, chromium and manganese the structural steel of 35ХГСА and 35хgsa grades is used at manufacturing of heavily loaded details of machines and tools - gears, bushings, bandages, shafts, etc. The steel is well exposed to hot plastic deformation, machining is possible with hardfacing tool.
After quenching and tempering, the steels in question have the following mechanical properties:
