Hastelloy C22® - UNS N06022
Werkstoff Nr. 2.4602. Common trade names: Hastelloy C22®, Inconel® 22, Nicrofer® 5621. The alloy is resistant to general corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Used in many industries: power generation, offshore exploration, industrial chemicals, paper making, industrial waste management, pollution control, The alloy contains chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and iron, making it resistant to corrosion in standing or flowing marine waters.
Production
Rolled steel is available in: sheets, strips, plates, rounds, wire, seamless and welded tubes, forgings, fittings, and flanges. Sheets are supplied in thicknesses from 0.9 to 3.5 mm. The strip in coils is 300 mm wide. Plate is up to 50 mm thick. Circle is supplied as forging up to 280 mm in diameter. Circles of larger sizes can be made to order. Seamless tube is available up to 50 mm in diameter. Larger sizes can also be manufactured as welded tubes to order. All products (in terms of weld quality) are subjected to nondestructive testing methods. In fact, it is possible to produce a pipe of any diameter and tolerance level, regardless of batch size. Fittings are available or can be produced at short notice.
