Inconel 725 / UNS N07725 Bar, Wire and Tube

Inconel 725 and UNS N07725 requirements

Inconel 725, identified as UNS N07725, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy whose strength can be developed by precipitation heat treatment. Product performance depends on chemistry, melt route, section size, solution treatment and aging condition. The grade designation alone does not define every mechanical, corrosion or sour-service requirement, so the governing material and product specifications must be stated.

Bar, wire and tube purchasing details

For bar or wire, provide diameter, length or coil data, tolerance, straightness, surface and condition. For tube, state outside diameter, wall thickness, length, seamless or welded construction, end finish and tolerance. Include quantity, heat-treatment condition, tensile, hardness, impact, corrosion, ultrasonic or other testing, marking and certificate type. For oil and gas, marine or pressure service, add the applicable component specification, environmental limits and purchaser qualification requirements.
