Inconel
Heat resistant alloy containing 15% Cr and up to 9% Fe on nickel base. It was developed in the United States for the production of jet engines. The domestic analogues are KhN80TBYu, KhN73MBTU. Up to t° 900 °C this alloy is characterized by high impact toughness and strength, and at low temperatures (down to -78°C) it is not sensitive to cuts. Products made of it are easy to weld and annealing is used to harden the welds.
Nimonik
Heat resistant nickel-based alloy, was developed in 1942 by the British company «Monde nickel company» — contains Cr, Al, Ti. The domestic analogues are ХН55ВМТФКЮ, ХН80ТБЮ. To obtain the necessary properties it has been developed a number of analogues which contain 0.2−4% Ti, 0.5−6% Al, 10−21% Cr. The alloy is alloyed with up to 6% Mo, up to 22% Co. The melting temperature depends on the chemical composition and is 1310 — 1390 °C. The working temperature of the alloy is nearly 1000 °C. The alloy is readily available for hot work by pressure and much less so for cold work. It is available as forgings, sheets, bars and tubes. Parts for jet engines are made from it.
Hastelloy
It is a high-temperature resistant corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloy composed of up to 23% Cr, 29% Fe and 30% Mo, plus up to 0.15% of carbon. The domestic analogues are Х15Н65М16 В, Н70М28Ф. Some alloy grades are alloyed up to 10% Si, up to 5% W, up to 2.5% Co, as well as V, Si, Nb, Ta. Hastelloystoyk in acids: sulfuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, formic acetic, resistant to the influence of chlorine and fluorine ions. It is produced as casts, sheets, rods and wires. It is used as a material for chemical equipment and in engine construction.
