Titanium tube VT1-0
Manufactured from unique high-purity titanium alloy VT1-0. Such tube is light, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and resistant to aggressive media, workable in the temperature range (from -253°С to +650°С. The tube features an insignificant coefficient of thermal expansion, low density (4,505 g/cm3), very high plasticity of 20-80% which allows giving any shape to the tube.

Disadvantages
High labor-intensive production of such pipes is reflected in the cost price. The strength of VT1-0 is about 390 - 540 MPa, - is not considered high enough.
Manufacturing
Such pipes are manufactured as seamless and welded, hot- and cold-rolled. After the billet is formed, the pipe is rolled to size and machined. Welded titanium tubes are made from flat-rolled products. Cold-rolled and hot-rolled titanium tubes are heat treated and have an etched surface.
Use
The most popular tube of BT1-0 grade is used in the oil and gas industry and chemical industry, as it has high corrosion resistance and chemical inertness to reagents. Alloy VT1-0 is biologically inert, thanks to which such pipes are used in pharmaceutics and medicine. A non-magnetic alloy is a significant advantage for electrical installations.
