Production

Brass band is a semi-finished product with rectangular cross-section and non-dimensional length. It can be made by hot and cold rolling. According to the condition of the material is hard, semi-hard and soft. A distinction is made between high and high normal production accuracy. Technical specifications of production: tapes of L68, LS59-1 and L63 grades of general purpose (GOST 2208-2007); tapes L68 for capsules (GOST 1018-77); L63 for radiator tapes (GOST 20 707-80). The control of chemical composition of the alloy is regulated by GOST 24 231-80.

Applications

Brass is a high-tech alloy of copper and zinc. Brass tape serves as the basis for small parts of complex shapes.
