Composition
20Х20Н14С2 is a high-temperature alloyed chrome-nickel steel. Its composition includes 19-22% Cr, 12-15% Ni. As an additive to the charge 2-3% silicon, up to 1.5% manganese, 0.3% copper, 0.2% of titanium and carbon, thousands of percent of phosphorus and sulfur.

Manufacturing
20Х20Н14С2 pipe can be manufactured by hot-rolled, cold-rolled and heat-deformed methods. Seamless pipe is made by pressing, drawing, forging or rolling. The forging temperature is 1170 °C at the beginning of the process and 850 °C at the end. Pipe up to 350 millimeters in cross-section is air-cooled. Pipes are mainly produced with a circular cross-section, but it is possible to roll pipes with rectangular, oval, and square cross-sections.
Classification
Particularly thin-walled tubes have wall thickness from 0.3 to 6 mm and Ø 5-250 mm. Thin-walled pipe has wall thickness from 0.6 to 20 mm at the same diameter. Thick-walled pipe has wall thickness of 1.6-24 mm and Ø 6-250 mm. Particularly thick-walled pipe is manufactured with a wall thickness of 2- 12 mm and Ø 6-70 mm.
