Corrosion resistance
This steel resistant to intergranular corrosion after provoking holiday (700°C for one hour). The tests are according to the method of WU GOST 6032−89. The steel in the hardened state, and its welded seams are resistant to General corrosion and to pitting and intergranular corrosion. In the production of wet-process phosphoric acid in the slurry (32% P2O5, 2% F, 2% S03, phosphogypsum) to 85 °C and evaporated acid (54% P2O5, 0.5% of F) to 110 °C is no intercrystalline corrosion. The corrosion rate of the steel does not exceed 0.1 mm/year in the environment of 10−20% H2SO4: up to 80 °C; 10% of H2SO4 mixed with 7−9% of SO2 and 30 °C; in 96% acetic acid at 120 °C. the corrosion Rate in bortovoy pulp containing up to 0.6% H2SO4; of 6.03% B2O3 and 5.08% MgO at 90 °C does not exceed 0,001 mm/year. Make of a steel stirrer of turbine type (height of 4.5 m Ø 0.3 m, with rotation speed 700 rpm) for mixing the pulp, which contains 32% P2O5, 1,8% F (H2SiF6 and 2.5% S04 (H2SO4) and phosphogypsum at 70 °C; slurry pipelines (28−36% P2O5), 1,6-of 1.85% F; 1,6−3% SO2 at t=70−88°C), separators, extractors (up to 5.5 m and Ø 8 m) in the production of wet-process phosphoric acid (with the addition of fluorine ions).
Technological parameters
Hardening occurs in water at t° 1060−1120°C; the same applies to heat treatment for removing work hardening after hot and cold deformation. For hot deformation: forging and rolling necessary t° 1200−850°C, for forming 1100−900°C. the Steel lends itself well to deformation and cold conditions, and satisfactorily treated by cutting. When bending steel sheet (thickness 5 mm) in hot and cold state, minimum bending radii should exceed twice the sheet thickness.
Welding
This steel is welded automatic; manual arc and TIG welding. Sheet thickness of 10 mm welded satisfactorily by all kinds of manual electric arc welding. TIG method is recommended for sheet thinner than 6 mm and for welding root joints thicker than 10 mm. Large parts can be satisfactorily welding 2 types of manual arc welding with reduced content of niobium metal in the root pass of the weld. For prevention of hot cracks in welded joints thicker than 10 mm, the root joints need welding back-step method using welding material without niobium. A combined method (argon arc welding and welding with stick electrodes) use for sheet thicker than 12 mm. In the last turn welded joints, which are addressed to a corrosive environment, the electrodes OzL-17U.
Electrodes OzL-17U, OzL-26A, anv-17 with wire SV-01Х19Н18Г10АМ4 suitable for manual welding of steel sheet up to 10 mm and to fill the cutting steel with a thickness greater than 10 mm. Electrodes without niobium in the coating: OzL-26A wire 03Х21Н21М4 (Z-87) and OzL-17U with wire SV-03Х23Н28МЗДЗТ better when welding root passes, steel thicker than 10 mm. And the electrodes EA-395/9 are recommended for welding this steel with steel grades 08KH18N10T, 10X17H13M2T, 10H17N13MZT, 20K and STZ.
In manual TIG welding with non-consumable electrode steel sheet up to 10 mm, as well as filling the cutting with a steel thickness greater than 10 mm, recommended wire SV-03Х23Н28МЗДЗТ or 02Х21Н21М4ГБ (ЗИ69). When welding the root pass of the steel, whose thickness is greater than 10 mm, recommended wire 03Х21Н21М4 (ЗИ87); in automatic welding — SV-01Х19Н18Г10АМ4 (ЭП690) and flux an-18. Strength of welds = 90% of base metal. Weld all types of welding are resistant to General and intergranular corrosion.
