Production
Alloy KhN30MDB EK77 is a heat-resistant high-alloy steel; has about 27-29% of chromium and 29-31% of nickel. Therefore, this alloy can be called chromium-nickel. As an additive to the blend use 0.5 - 1.8% manganese, 0.2% silicon, not more than 0.2% niobium and 1.5% copper, up to 0.02% phosphorus and the same amount of sulfur. The forging temperature is 1170 °C at the beginning of the process and about 850 °C at the end. Pipes made of this alloy with a cross-section of up to 350 mm are specially cooled in the open air. All tubes are predominantly produced with circular cross-sections, less frequently with rectangular, oval as well as square cross-sections. The field of application of pipes divides them into 6 main classes. The higher the grade, the higher the requirements in terms of heat resistance, heat resistance and corrosion resistance, which are directly dependent on the chromium and nickel content.

Pipe classification
Pipes of the first class are used for concealing cables in a great variety of constructions, for scaffolding, for creating irrigation systems, for local supply of a variety of fluids, e.g. in water supply systems and in heating systems. Pipes of the second class are used under increased or decreased pressure, for this reason can be used to supply gas, water, oil and various products of the petrochemical industry in the pipeline. Pipe of the third austenite-ferrite class is used in a variety of systems at high pressure, for this reason it is often used in the nuclear and chemical industries. Pipe of the fourth class is used as an auxiliary pipe, as well as a drill pipe in various geological prospecting works. The fifth class is used in the manufacture of automobiles, overhead cranes, supports, woodworking and furniture industry. The highest pipe class can be considered the sixth, which is used in the production of bearings, mechanical engineering, pistons and other parts that work under high pressure.
Range
With wall thickness of 0.3-6 mm and Ø 5-250 mm, tubes are called extra thin-walled. Thin-walled pipes have wall thickness of 0.6-20 mm and Ø 200-550 mm. Thick-walled pipes have a wall thickness of 1.6-24 mm and Ø 6-250 mm. Particularly thick-walled pipes are produced with wall thickness of 2-12 mm at Ø6-70 mm. Tubes thinner than 9 mm are supplied in coils, tubes over 9 mm are supplied in straight lengths, which are divided into nominal and measured lengths as well as multiples of measured length. The quality of high-alloyed KhN28VMAB steel enables to produce items of 1-6 m length. The less carbon in the alloy and the lower the quality of the steel, the longer the product length is. Rolled products from 2 to 6 meters are made of carbon and low-alloyed steel of ordinary quality. High-alloyed carbon steel is used for producing products of any parameters.Curvature
When placing an order for the manufacture of a pipe or a grade circle, the rolling curvature is also determined in accordance with the standard. It is measured on the product at least one meter along the length, with the measure taken at a distance of more than 15 cm from the edge of the product. Lead times are minimal.
