VT1-2 is a legacy titanium designation used in CIS and Eastern European documentation. It is not an ASTM grade or a UNS designation. A purchasing decision must therefore be based on the original governing standard, revision, chemical limits, mechanical properties and product requirements—not on a name-only comparison with Titanium Grade 2, Grade 4 or another U.S. grade.
