Technical Characteristics

Heat-resistant austenitic steel is characterized by strength and high corrosion resistance, satisfactory ductility and good weldability. The composition has additions of nickel, chromium, molybdenum (in total more than 50%). The specific gravity is 8.0 ^g/cm3. Such steel shows high resistance to general, pitting and crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion cracking. Demonstrates resistance to the action of hydrochloric acid of any concentration, the action of concentrated sulfuric acid, chlorides, acetic and phosphoric acids. This alloy is stronger and more resistant to corrosion than austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 304 and 316L.
