Classification
According to the type of treatment distinguish stainless steel wire oxidized and light (without oxides), the accuracy of manufacturing — normal and high precision, and on physical properties, such as plasticity, products are divided into 1st and 2nd class.
The greatest demand
Wire grades 10Х17Н13М2Т, 10Х17Н13М3Т, 12Х13, 12Х18Н9Т, 12Х18Н10Т, 17Х18Н9, 304 AISI (08Х18Н10), 20Х13, 30Х13, 40Х13 with Ø 0,13 — 6 mm.
Advantages
High corrosion resistance to soil and atmospheric moisture, condensate, aggressive industrial environments. The most resistant wire is made of complex alloys with high content of molybdenum, chromium, nickel, copper, silicon and vanadium. It is characterized by heat resistance, heat resistance, durability. Depending on operating conditions the alloy grade with the required set of properties is selected.
Application
Wire 10Х17Н13М2Т is characterized by corrosion resistance, resistance to the action of chlorides, acid and alkaline solutions. It is resistant to deformation, high strength and wear resistance. Finds the widest application in mechanical engineering, agriculture, construction, food, chemical industry, medicine. The wire of 08Х18Н10Т, 12Х18Н10Т, 10Х17Н13М2Т, 20Х23Н18 grades has the high nickel content. 12X18H10T wire is made from chromium-nickel steel with titanium additive and is used at t° up to 800 °C. Demanded in the chemical and oil refining industry at high temperatures. Grade 20X23H18 is even more heat-resistant and heat-resistant, capable of withstanding heat up to 1100 °C.
