Specialty steels
Chrome-nickel steels belong to the category of heat-resistant and heat-resistant alloys of the austenitic class. The high qualities of this steel allow it to be used in an oxidizing atmosphere at high temperatures. Chromium and nickel, the total share of which in the alloy can reach 45%, protect the surface of structures from wet corrosion and corrosion cracking in alkaline and chloride environments, impart resistance to intergranular corrosion. Silicon, manganese and titanium additives additionally improve processability and performance qualities.
