General characteristics

Alloyed brass L70 belongs to double deformable brass. As follows from the marking, L70 has a high percentage of copper in the alloy, about 70%. Among other alloys it has good corrosion resistance, it is easily deformed in cold state, easily soldered, it is suitable for application on steel. It is used for the manufacture of semi-finished products such as sheet, strip, strip, tube, wire.

Production

Chemical composition of L70 grade is regulated by GOST 15 627-2004. Alloy consists of the following components: main part is copper - 69 - 71%, zinc contains 28 - 30%. The alloying additives are listed in descending order. Iron - 0.07%, lead - up to 0.05%, phosphorus - 0.005%, antimony and bismuth - 0.002%, impurities - no more than 0.2%. The alloy melts at 950 ° C, processed at 700 - 850 ° C, the annealing temperature is 550 - 650 ° C.

Advantages
