Relevance

Steel of austenitic class, heat and corrosion resistant. Alloyed with 17-19% Cr, 9-11% Ni, up to 2% Mn. Used in power engineering at t° ≤ 600 °C. E.g. for heat-exchange fittings of TVEL with water coolant, turbine blades, parts of compressors and pumps. Welded reactors of this alloy work in dilute solutions of acetic, nitric, phosphoric acids, saline and alkaline solutions. Parts operating under load can withstand temperatures from -196 ° C to +600 ° C, and in aggressive environments - up to +350 ° C. The substitutes are 08X22H6T, 08X17T, 08X18H8N2T, 10X14H14N4T, 12X17H9AN4, 15X25T, 12X18H9T.

Tape - 4986-79. Strip - State Standards 4405-75 and 103-76. Forgings and forged blanks - 1133-71 and 25,054-81. Tubes - 9940-81 and 9941-81. Wire - 18,143-72. Technological properties

Hot deformation occurs in the temperature range from 1200 °C to 850 °C. Semifinished products up to 350 mm thick are air-cooled. Weldability - without limitations. Welding methods: РДС (electrodes ЦТ-26), ЕШС and КТС. Final heat treatment is desirable. Can be processed by cutting - Kvtv. spl = 0.85 and Kvb.st. = 0.35 in the quenched state at HB 169 and σc = 610 MPa. According to corrosion properties it is close to steel 12Х18Н9Т.
