Production of CrN70U
Tube grade KhN70Yu (previously designated as EI652) is made of heat resistant alloy based on nickel, which contains 65.073 - 71.2%. This heat resistant alloy refers to the "alloyed". In addition to nickel in the composition of CHN70Yu includes chromium 26 - 29%. Therefore, the alloy KhN70Yu is also designated as chromium-nickel. As additives are used: aluminum 2.8 - 3.5%, iron - up to 1%, barium - no more than 0.10%, manganese - up to 0.3%, cerium - less than 0,03%, silicon - up to 0,8%, phosphorus - not more than 0,015%, copper - up to 0,07%, sulfur - up to 0,012%.

Steel is melted in an open induction furnace or use the method of electroslag remelting - a method of obtaining metal by remelting in a bath of conductive slag under the influence of an electric current. This method considerably increases the quality of the alloys. The pipe is manufactured in accordance with

Use
Fabrication of fragments of gas piping systems whose operation takes place under moderate stress. This alloy is heat-resistant and heat-resistant, but unstable in sulfur-containing environments. CrN70U tube can be operated for a long time at temperatures up to 800 ° C, although it can withstand short-term elevation t ° up to 1200 ° C, but even greater heating causes the process of active formation of scale. The alloy is also used in the manufacture of heating elements and welding wires for surfacing parts and welding steel structures in mechanical engineering. This steel can be used to produce parts for afterburner chambers - additional combustion chambers for turbojet engines designed to temporarily increase thrust, and combustion chambers that operate under low stress at a temperature of 1100-1200°C. When heated, chromium and aluminum in the alloy composition actively form oxide films, which increases the resistance of the material to the corrosive environment. In addition to gas pipe systems CrN70U tube can be used for drainage, construction of industrial building structures.
