General characteristic

CrN70Yu sheet, strip, foil - products from alloyed heat-resistant heat-resistant steel with high corrosion resistance. Alloying makes it possible to improve its physical and chemical properties. The base of the alloy is nickel, the minimum content of which should not be below 65.073%, and the maximum - above 71.2%. Chromium takes second place in terms of volume - 26-29% of the total mass. Unlike similar alloys, iron is added to the steel of this grade as an additive, its amount does not exceed 1%. The alloy refers to low-carbon, as it contains up to 0.1% C. Silicon and manganese are used as additives - 0.8% and 0.3% respectively. The composition also includes sulfur (up to 0.012%), phosphorus (no more than 0.015%), selenium (up to 0.03%), aluminum (2.8, - 3.5%), copper (up to 0.07%) and barium (less than 0.1%). It is an easily weldable material, available to all types of welding operations without restriction.

Production

XN70U grade products are produced according to GOST 5632-72 (for high-alloyed steel grades, heat-resistant high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloys) and GOST 12 766.4-77 (rolling specifications). Also on the products of this steel some TU apply. For example, the production of strips is regulated by GOST 24 982-81, and cold-rolled sheets - TU 14-1-493-72 and TU 14-1-810-73. Hot-rolled steel is subjected to forging in the range of t° 1150 °C - 900 °C. Plate and strip are heat-treated after production. Strip is hardened in air at 1100-1130 °C, and cold-rolled sheet is hardened at 1100-1150 °C under a water shower, in water or in air.

For parts of combustion chambers, screens, diffusers, pockets of afterburner chambers (creating temporary additional thrust chambers in jet engines). Such products are capable of working at low voltages and high temperatures of 1100-1200 ° C, above which already begins active scale formation. Sheet, strip are used in the production of heating elements, parts of welded units in power engineering. Elements of fasteners made of this steel can withstand very high temperatures. Widely used in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, construction. Thin sheet, foil is used to create heat-resistant corrosion-resistant coatings.
