Basic qualities

20X23H13 (AISI 309) - heat-resistant high-alloy steel of the outtense-ferrite class, designed for the manufacture of parts operating at high temperatures of 900-1000 ° C in a low-load condition. Ferritic steels are classified as heat resistant. They can withstand t° up to 600 °C. At higher temperatures, austenitic steel is used. As opposed to austenitic class steels, 20X23H13 grade is characterized by higher strength (almost twofold), greater resistance to intergranular corrosion and corrosion cracking in chloride media and alkalis. This steel - limited weldable, requires preheating to 100-120 ° C and the final heat treatment.

Production
