IN-738 and IN-738LC requirements for U.S. buyers
IN-738 is a vacuum-melted, vacuum-cast, precipitation-hardenable nickel-base superalloy developed for high-temperature creep strength and hot-corrosion resistance in gas-turbine service. The family includes the higher-carbon IN-738C version and the low-carbon IN-738LC modification. The exact version must be identified because chemistry and processing requirements are not interchangeable.
Supply scope
Evek LLC reviews customer-specified requirements for cast material, master-alloy or remelt feedstock, test pieces and other forms explicitly covered by the purchaser's specification. IN-738 is fundamentally a casting alloy; it should not be ordered as generic wrought wire, tube or bar without a governing document that permits that form.

Send the exact designation—IN-738C or IN-738LC—together with the governing specification and revision, required form or drawing, dimensions, heat-treatment condition, quantity, chemistry limits, mechanical tests, nondestructive examination and certification requirements. Identify whether virgin material, revert or another melt-stock condition is acceptable.
