The corrosion resistance of the alloy
Mark HN40MDB-VI according to TU 14−1-2131−77 is resistant to intergranular corrosion by the method of GOST BY 6 O32−89. Before the test, the sample is heated to 700 ° C (20 minutes). When tested by methods AM, MCA (G0ST 6032−89) alloy exhibits resistance to intergranular corrosion after heating to 550−950 ° C 95 hours, and the slave method GOST 6032−89 after heating for two hours at 800 ° t ° C. The alloy is not prone to stress corrosion cracking in boiling 42% MgCl solutions or 50% H 2 SO 4. An alloy resistant to localized corrosion and pitting in a solution of FeCl, in production of wet environments H 3 PO 4, H 2 SO concentrated 4, a hydrometallurgical production environments.
Treatment
The alloy is easily handled in the hot and cold, as well as a satisfactory cut. Hot deformation is produced in the thermal range of 1180−900 ° C. This alloy argon-arc welded by using filler wire HN40MDB-VI or by manual arc welding with rod electrodes brand Saint-HN40MDB-VI. HN40MDB-VI alloys with HN65MV and 06HN28MDT (EI943) is subjected to a composite welding.
