Metal hoses with fittings for welding — are flexible pipelines. Depending on the pressure 16 — 280 atm, with a diameter of 6−250 mm and a length of 600 cm (one-piece hose). Metal hoses can be longer, but welded. Flexible components of metal hoses are manufactured from stainless tubular blanks by mechanical or hydraulic forming of corrugations, which is analogous to metal hoses FGUP Hydraulics 8D4, H8D0 and 4655A. Production of metal hoses meets all specifications and GOST.

General Characteristics
The load-carrying component of metal flexible hose is a braid that does not prevent bending of the hose, taking radial and axial loads. Braids are made of stainless steel wire. Number of braids on metal hose depends on the value of its operating pressure. When selecting high pressure metal hoses the main parameters are the pressure of the working environment and temperature. It is necessary to know that the difference between the working pressure and bursting pressure metal hose varies by at least three times. It is very important in metal hose production to observe welding technology of joining the stainless steel flexible hose to the pipeline fixed part, as welded seams must withstand a predetermined pressure. To this end, argon welding technology and double welded joints are used. After completing the work associated with the connection (welding) of the hose, it is mandatory to perform a hydrostatic test (leak test), in order to prevent the leakage of the working environment.

As a rule, they are used for mating pipelines and stationary units. Proper installation and quality welding allows metal hose in the unit to the end of the life of the pipeline or unit. In the process of vibration load in the joints of pipelines and to work in corrosive environments use SRGS — high pressure sealed metal hose in a corrugated shell series 4655A. Welded pressure-tight stainless steel metal hoses (SRGS) are made by coiling of steel profiled band in a spiral with further seam welding.

Metal hoses are made from RGT (leak-tight pipe sleeves). Metal hoses with such shell are installed effectively in equipment and pipelines with increased vibration loads and high pressure.
Metal hoses series 8D4.498.469 «under welding».
This series of metal hoses are made from RGTA-type sheath (sealed hoses with spiral pipe corrugation). They are resistant to low and high temperatures and can be used at operating critical pressure up to 350 atm. The main criterion for increasing the service life of metal hoses is a professional installation and proper use of the pipeline.
