Technical characteristics

This bronze contains 6-12% Al, 4-5% nickel and is also alloyed with iron, manganese, zinc and silicon. The peculiarity of this alloy is high specific strength and improved mechanical properties. The alloy is used in production of valve seats, bushings, worms, gears, compression screw nuts in mechanical engineering.

Thermal processing

The alloy is quenched and tempered at 250-300°C for 2-3 hours to improve the hardness characteristics.
