Austenitic stainless steel
Technical characteristics
Austenitic grades are alloys which form single-phase structure and keep it up to cryogenic temperatures. They contain 18−25% Cr which provides heat and corrosion resistance and up to 35% Ni which stabilizes structure and increases ductility and workability of steels in wide temperature range. They can be alloyed with titanium, manganese, silicon, copper, etc.
