Technical characteristics
Stainless low carbon chrome-nickel martensitic steel. Specific gravity 7.8 g/cm3. The base of the alloy is iron (Fe about 79%). The alloy is additionally alloyed with copper, manganese, silicon, niobium, tantalum; it exhibits excellent strength and corrosion resistance. at temperatures up to 600° F (316°C), good impact toughness in both longitudinal and transverse directions in both the base metal and the welds.
