General Characteristics
Stainless steel T-pieces are needed to separate and change the direction of flow in the pipeline. Straight tees have all sockets of the same diameter, while transition tees have a socket that is perpendicular to the main flow and has a smaller diameter.
Production and use
Domestic stainless steel tees are made stamped seamless. They are welded to the pipeline. Their thick walls are designed for pressure up to 100 atm, and t ° -70 ° C to +450 ° C (depending on the steel grade). But if it is a low-pressure pipeline made of imported stainless pipes, then imported stainless tees are applicable. They are made of electric-welded pipes with wall thickness up to 2 mm for pipes of small diameters and up to 4 mm for large pipes. Steel grades are used: 08X18H10T, 10X17H132M2T, 12X18H10T, 304 AISI, 316 AISI.
