The company Evek GmbH offers to buy pipes, bars, circles made of structural medium-carbon alloyed steel 38ХС and 37hs at economically advantageous price from the manufacturer. Supplier guarantees the compliance with the range of supply of rolled products, provides its delivery to the point marked by the customer.
Chemical composition
Steel grade 38HS refers to a group of steels, which are additionally alloyed with silicon and chromium. The steel is melted by domestic metallurgical industry according to the technical requirements of GOST 4543. The composition of the steel is given in the table:
Element | Carbon | Silicon | Manganese | Chrome | Copper | Nickel |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Percentage content in steel | 0,34…0,42 | 1,0…1,4 | 0,30…0,60 | 1,30…1.60 | Not more than 0.30 | Not more than 0.30 |
The standard allows for traces of molybdenum in 38Cr steel (up to 0.15%). The percentage of metallurgical impurities in steel composition — sulfur and phosphorus — should not exceed 0.035%.
The closest analogue of 38Cr steel in Europe is steel 37hs. It is produced by Polish metallurgical companies and must meet the requirements of the Polish national standard PN-H-84030. This steel differs from 38HS by the lack of molybdenum in its composition.
Evek GmbH offers to buy bulk rolled products — pipes, bars and circles made of chromium and silicon alloyed constructional medium-carbon steel grades 38HS and 37hs at producer price. The supplier guarantees timely delivery of the products to the point indicated by the customer.
Properties and application
Forging of 38CrNiCr and 37hs steel grades are used for production of mechanical transmission parts: shafts, pinion shafts, small gears and other similar products, which require an optimal combination of high contact strength and toughness of the core for their durability. The steel is prone to embrittlement after tempering and has a lower weldability (after welding requires hardening heat treatment).
The mechanical characteristics of the steel grades under consideration after quenching and tempering are:
- Tensile strength — 730…900 MPa;
- yield strength — 590…650 MPa;
- Relative elongation — 12…15%;
- Relative narrowing — 50…52%;
- Brinell hardness — not more than 230 НВ;
- Impact viscosity — 600… 700 kJ/m2.
Buy a cost-effective price from the manufacturer of the tube, round, bar, which are made of alloy constructional steel grades 38HS and 37hs offers the company Evek GmbH. Supplier guarantees strict adherence to the range of products supplied, ensures its timely transportation to the point specified by the customer.
