C37700 and CuZn39Pb2 grade requirements
C37700 and CuZn39Pb2 appear in cross-reference practice for leaded brass products. They must not be treated as automatically interchangeable: chemistry, product standards, delivery condition and required properties can differ. The buyer should identify the accepted designation, governing standard and edition, required product form and any approved alternative before quotation.
Form, dimensions and condition
Provide the required form, thickness or diameter, width, length or drawing, dimensional tolerance, condition, surface and quantity. Include mechanical-property or hardness requirements, forming or machining route, dimensional inspection, marking and certificate type.
