Relevance
A hermetic metal hose in a corrugated shell of the SRGS type, having a flange connection with folding bolts of the 4656A series, is intended for quick uncoupling and coupling of pipelines, transportation of various gaseous and liquid working environments (including oil refining products). The flexible bellows corrugated part of the hose has protection in the form of a mesh multilayer metal braid. In the area of connection of the fittings with the bellows part, a stainless steel cup is installed on the hose, covering the end part of the hose from the thermal effect of welding or soldering, reducing bending stresses in the area of sealing the fittings and unloading the mesh braid of the extreme corrugations.

Description
Quick-release connections are welded to the corrugated stainless steel part of the metal hose using argon-arc welding. Metal hoses with flange connections are technologically no different from metal hoses for welding, except for the presence of the flanges themselves. They have a similar production method and manufacturing technology, as well as a similar bellows corrugated shell. The advantage of this type of connection is reliability, ease of installation, the possibility of repeated connection and disassembly.
The flexible part of the sleeve is formed from a steel profiled tape rolled in a spiral, the thickness of which is from 0.15 to 0.4 mm, with subsequent seam contact welding of the corrugation top (SRGS). Metal sleeve with flange connection 4656A with a flexible part of the SRGS type is produced with a diameter of 50−150 mm, the working pressure in the bellows part is up to 25 atmospheres, and the length is 250−6000 mm. The flange shape can be free and rigid, in accordance with GOST.
Application
Metal hoses with flange connection are used for transportation of various media, including explosive and aggressive ones, in almost all branches of industry. Operating conditions of the hermetic metal hose in a corrugated shell SRGS with a flange connection and with hinged bolts of the 4656A series:
— Working environment temperature in the range of -260°С+ 800 °C;
— P (working) — working pressure, depending on vacuum: no more than 280 kg/ cm2 ;
— Working environment: air, steam, water, gases, aggressive environments, petroleum products;
— The operating conditions of a metal hose with a flange connection depend on the material and type of flanges.
