Flanged Expansion Joints and Bellows Assemblies
Flanged expansion joints
A flanged expansion joint must be selected for the actual piping system, not by nominal diameter alone. The quotation request should identify DN or NPS, flange standard and class, design pressure and temperature, axial, lateral or angular movement, cycle requirement and the conveyed medium.
Bellows and flange configuration
State the bellows, flange and liner materials, number of plies, overall length, tie-rod or restraint requirement and whether fixed or rotating flanges are needed. Include a drawing or flange drilling details when the assembly must match existing equipment. Values in the legacy size tables below require confirmation for the exact design.
