Standard axial expansion joint with ABN/ALN flanges.
The multi-layer bellows is made of stainless steel 10X17H13M2T (analogue 1.4571) or 03X17H13M2 (analogue 1.4404). Compensator flanges are made of steel. Working temperature of this compensator type is up to 300 °C.
Multiple layers are a characteristic feature of standard axial expansion joints. The pressure compensator wall is made of several thin layers. This design increases flexibility, resistance to pressure differences. The advantage of the design is the low force required for movement, a full guarantee of tightness of all elements and the possibility of significant movements with a small length of the compensator.
Axial axial expansion joints
These are standard expansion joints with superior performance qualities made of stainless steel bellows with diameters ranging from 15 to 3000 mm. Axial expansion joints are available with fixed flange or swivel flange connections, welding sockets and threaded connections. As additional versions of this type of compensators can be: with an inner cup, with the use of special materials and different types of executions of holes in the flange. Axial expansion joints are an inexpensive solution for compensating temperature changes in pipeline systems.
Bellows axial expansion joint with swivel flange
This type of compensator is able to facilitate installation because the flanges can be easily and freely rotated to perfectly fit the bolts to the holes, as well as when replacing equipment.
Axial flange compensator with fixed flange
To achieve a more rigid connection, this compensator is welded to bellows. It is used in order to absorb thermal elongation along the pipe axis. Piping systems inside are divided into sections by means of fixed baffles to prevent differential expansion. Thus the elongation movement that occurs in this section is absorbed by the bellows metal compensator that is used in this particular section.
