general characteristics
Precision alloy 50N refers to a series nizkonikelevyh permalloys. This nickel-iron alloys with high permeability in weak magnetic fields. Its composition is divided into nizkonikelevye (containing 50% Ni) and RICH (82% Ni). The amount of nickel in the alloy determines the degree of deviation of the electric and magnetic properties. Marking 50H indicates 50 percent nickel content.

This percentage gives a higher electrical conductivity 50H compared to high nickel alloys. All permalloys have good magnetic properties, high sensitivity of magnetic properties to changes of the external voltage. The practical importance in electrical engineering received RICH permalloy alloy 2−3% Mo, giving rectangular hysteresis loop.

Production
