General Characteristics
The alloyed heat-resistant carbon alloy 50H is enriched with a solid solution of nickel: 49 - 50.5% Ni, the rest is iron, alloyed with chrome, copper, cobalt. It is smelted in the induction furnace under the protection of neutral gas. The low magnetic resistivity determines the application of this alloy in high-precision mechanical devices, industrial sensors working in an alternating magnetic field. Sections are usually supplied in coils (except for bars). This special steel belongs to the category of structural steels, which are used in the manufacture of electrical equipment, claim mechanisms operating in harsh aggressive conditions.

Application
Wire, rounds, bars made from such steel refer to stainless steel products. Wire can be used in welding nickel steels. The circle has found wide application in electrical engineering, chemical, metallurgical and textile industries. One modification of the circle is the bar, which has a fixed length and small cross-section. Wire, rounds, bars made of steel grade 50H are among the most popular rolled products. They are very widely used for parts of magnetic circuits operating at high values of induction with little submagnetization, in constructions of high-temperature installations with continuous operation at t° up to 900 °C. Above this, the process of active scale formation begins. Another area of application of steel 50H is the production of springs, disks, capable of functioning at temperatures below 650oC. Such steel is quite difficult to weld, so the final annealing and heat treatment is carried out to strengthen the seam.
