Product forms and specifications

The governing specification depends on product form and condition. Examples include AMS 5596 for sheet, strip and plate, AMS 5662 or AMS 5663 for bars, forgings and rings, and AMS 5589 for seamless tubing. ASTM and customer specifications may also apply. State one exact specification and required heat-treatment condition.
