Technical characteristics
Such bronze contains 6-11% Al, it is also alloyed with iron, manganese, tin and silicon additives. The peculiarity of aluminum bronzes is the increased specific strength and improved mechanical properties.

Manganese and zinc in the alloy composition increase mechanical strength, heat resistance, increase corrosion resistance, resistance at low temperatures. Melting point of the alloy: 1060 °C. Hardness: HB 10-1 = 110 - 130 MPa. Friction coefficient without lubrication is 0.18. Friction coefficient with lubrication = 0.006.

Condenser tube boards, parts of cryogenic equipment and chemical apparatus, electrodes for welding aluminium-iron bronze and automatic cladding of bronze under flux.

Turning, milling, grinding, drilling.
Thermal machining
Normalization, hardening, annealing, tempering.
