Inconel 617 - UNS N06617
Common trade names: Inconel 617 ®, Nicrofer ® 617. The alloy consists of nickel, chromium, cobalt and molybdenum. These elements make the alloy highly resistant to oxidation and carburizing. Semifinished products can be made by hot forging (carried out at up to 1205ºC) and cold forging (at t° 1035ºC). The alloy has excellent weldability. It is used to conduct gas pipelines, in the construction of stationary gas turbines, in aircraft construction, for example, for combustion chambers.
