Technical Characteristics

The alloy was developed in the early 90s. It is designed for parts of industrial furnaces and petrochemical valves. It is a highly alloyed heat resistant austenitic steel. Designed for long term high temperature operation up to 1200 °C. Demonstrates high oxidative stability, has excellent fatigue strength. Exhibits excellent resistance to carbon saturation

Due to its high chromium and aluminum content, the alloy shows good resistance in sulfur-containing atmospheres when heated. An outstanding property of this steel is its resistance to oxidation even under extreme conditions of cyclic thermal shock. This resistance is even higher than that of Alloy 601.
