Steel 10KH2M1 (10Х2М1А)
Designation
Description
Steel 10KH2M1 used: as a base layer in the manufacture of hot-rolled dual-layer corrosion-resistant sheets, forgings, sheets and forged blanks for the manufacture of equipment for the petrochemical industry.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 10885-85 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 10Х2М1. In the finished rolled products, deviations in chemical composition are allowed in accordance with GOST 20072.
According to TU 302.02.121-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 10X2M1A. The steel grade 10X2M1A-A differs from steel grade 10X2M1A in the following proportions: nickel ≤ 0.30%, sulfur ≤ 0.15%, phosphorus ≤ 0.012%, arsenic ≤ 0.010%, copper ≤ 0.10%, tin ≤ 0.005% , antimony ≤ 0.005%. For steel grade 10X2M1A-A, the content of zinc, lead and bismuth is additionally determined. In the chemical control analysis of both grades, the following chemical elements are determined: carbon, manganese, molybdenum, chromium, silicon, nickel, sulfur and phosphorus. The results of the control chemical analysis are not delivery. In the metal of the ESR, the sulfur content should not be more than 0.015%; in the metal VDP metal, the content of tin and antimony should not be more than 0.005% of each, and also check the content of zinc, lead and bismuth.
