Steel 09Н2МФБА (09Н2МФБА-A)
Designation
Description
09Н2МФБА steel is used: for the manufacture of forgings of thickness up to 500 mm, obtained by free forging on presses intended for production of details of transport containers used for the transport of spent nuclear fuel used at temperatures up to Minot 50 °C, and structures, operating in conditions of Siberia and the far North.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 24.11.027-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 09N2MFBA-A. Deviations of the mass fraction of elements in the ladle sample are allowed provided that the metal of forgings meets the other requirements of TU 24.11.027-91: C -0.010%, Ni + 0.10%, Mn + 0.10%, Mo + 0.050%, Cr +0, 10%. Additionally, the mass fractions of aluminum and titanium are determined, the results of which are not acceptance tests, but are recorded in the forgery passport.
