Steel 08ХМЧА (08ХМЧ)
Designation
Description
08ХМЧА steel is used: for the production of seamless hot-deformed oil and gas pipes with improved corrosion and cold-resistance, designed for use in systems of oil and gas pipelines, technological pipelines, transporting oil and oil products, as well as in the systems of reservoir pressure maintenance in terms of oil production enterprises.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-161-148-94, cerium, calcium and aluminum (each) are introduced into the steel for modification according to the calculation according to the data in the table.
According to TU 14-162-14-96 chemical composition is given for steel grade 08HMCHA. Variations in carbon content (+0.010%), aluminum (± 0.010%), manganese (+ 0.015%), sulfur (+ 0.005%), phosphorus (+ 0.002%), chromium (± 0.10%) are allowed in the steel. molybdenum (+0,050%). Modification of the steel by ferrosilicon or silicocalcium is possible with the calculation of the content of cerium and calcium in the steel of 0.050% each, the content of which is not controlled, and the calculated values are entered in the certificate. In order to increase the strength properties, titanium can be introduced into the steel in an amount up to 0.010%.
