Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-4622-89 the chemical composition is given for steel 12ХН2МД-Ш. Vanadium and aluminum are introduced by calculation. The content of vanadium, aluminum and calcium is optional. Vanadium and calcium are calculated and injected into steel without correction for carbon monoxide. The deviation of the vanadium content from the established rate is not a sign of marriage. Allowed the introduction of calcium in combination with barium in the amount of 0.030%. The content of calcium (calcium and barium) is not controlled. In the initial metal, the following is allowed: deviation of the mass fraction of carbon ± 0.010%; an increase in the mass fraction of aluminum by 0.010%.
According to TU 14-1-3824-84 the chemical composition is given for steel 12ХН2МД-Ш (АБ2-Ш). The content of vanadium and aluminum is optional, but is indicated in the certificate. The calcium content is optional. Calcium and molybdenum are introduced by calculation. Deviations in chemical composition - in accordance with GOST 4543.
