Steel 15ХДП
Designation
Description
15ХДП steel is used: for the manufacture of bodies and hatches of gondola cars and other products intended for use under normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures from -60 °C to +60 °C without the use of additional protective coatings; construction, including roofing, cladding and machinery, freight cars, mine trolleys, roll-formed shapes, elements, industrial ventilation, packaging, supporting and bearing structures, pipes and other metal products and structures, used without a protective coating against corrosion when operating in the open air including a slightly aggressive media; bent profiles of power equipment.
Note
Hromonikelevoj steel.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-4941-90, in the finished rolled stock, if the requirements for mechanical properties are met, deviations in chemical composition are allowed (C -0.04 +0.02, Mn -0.15, Si -0.05 +0.10 ; Cr -0,05 + 0,10; Ni -0,05; Cu -0,05; P +0,03; S +0,005) at which an increased resistance of steels to atmospheric corrosion in an open atmosphere or a slightly aggressive environment without protection is provided from corrosion due to the total mass fraction of copper, phosphorus, chromium, nickel. The mass fraction of nickel more than 0.30% is not a rejection sign. At the request of the consumer, it is permitted to produce less than 4 mm thick rolled steel from grades 15ХДПкп and 15ХДПпс. The mass fraction of silicon in the boiling steel is not more than 0.05%, in the half-quartz steel it is within the range of 0.05-0.15%. In a calm steel, a technological addition of aluminum and titanium is introduced from the calculation of a residual mass fraction of aluminum of at least 0.08%, titanium is not more than 0.04%. The mass fraction of aluminum and titanium is recorded in the certificate and is not a rejection sign. Modification of the steel by one or more technological additives is possible, including natural alloyed materials, no more than 0,02% of the mass fraction of calcium (barium) in the steel, not more than 0,012% of the mass fraction of nitrogen, not more than 0,01% of the mass fraction rare earth elements, not more than 0.05% of the mass fraction of vanadium, not more than 0.01% of the mass fraction of niobium, not more than 0.15% of the mass fraction of cobalt, not more than 0.003% of the mass fraction of germanium, not more than 0.005% of the mass fraction of boron, not more than 0.15% of the mass fraction of arsenic. In the manufacture of rolled products with a thickness of more than 9.0 mm, the mass fraction of phosphorus in the steel can be reduced to 0.05%, and the mass fraction of chromium can increase to 1.0%.
