Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-3-1573-96 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 13G1S-U. Carbon equivalent of Se ≤ 0.43%. It is allowed to introduce into the steel a technological additive silicocalcium or rare-earth materials (REM) at the rate of 0.5-2.0 kg per 1 ton of steel. It is allowed to supply 5% of melts with a mass fraction of sulfur not more than 0.012%.
According to TU 14-158-146-2004, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 13G1S-U for the ladle sample for the 1st level of the quality of the pipes. For pipes of the 2nd level of quality in the ladle sample, the mass fraction of phosphorus sulfur is ≤ 0.015%, carbon = 0.11-0.14%. Niobium is optional and is introduced into steel by calculation with the manufacturer's agreement with the consumer.
