Description

Steel 09G2S is used: for the manufacture of different parts and welded steel elements operating at temperatures from -70 to +425 °C; steam boilers, apparatus and vessels working under pressure at a temperature of from -70 to +450 °C; responsible sheet welded structures the chemical and oil mechanical engineering, shipbuilding; details of pipeline valves after quenching and tempering; welding transitions, flanges, welded tees and other fittings of pipelines as with the operating temperature from -60 °C to +350 °C; as the base layer in the manufacture of hot-rolled dual-layer corrosion-resistant sheets; hot rolled pan and odnoselchanka profiles for agricultural machinery; cold-resistant seamless hot-deformed pipes for gas-lift systems and construction of gas fields; electrically welded pipes with a diameter of 530 mm strength group C50 for construction of gas pipelines, oil pipelines and oil product pipelines; large containers; equipment and pipelines of nuclear power installations; steel moulded profile for mining equipment.

Steel 09G2S provides classes strength long products, strip and shaped rolled KP 265 with a thickness from 20 to 100 mm, KP 295 with a thickness from 20 to 32 mm., KP 325 with a thickness of up to 20mm., KP 345 in thicknesses up to 10 mm.
Steel 09G2S provides strength grade sheet, universal broadband rental and roll-formed profiles KP 265 with plate thickness of from 20 to 160 mm., KP 295 with a thickness from 20 to 32 mm., KP 325 with a thickness of 10 to 20 mm., KP 345 in thicknesses up to 10 mm. without the use of additional hardening treatment.
When hardening treatment (reglamentary or controlled rolling or accelerated cooling) comes rolled sections up to 60 mm. KP 315, and section from 10 to 32 mm CP 375.

According to GOST 17066-94, the mass fraction of arsenic is allowed up to 0.015%, with the mass fraction of phosphorus being not more than 0.030%.
According to GOST 19282-73, it is allowed to modify steel with calcium and rare-earth elements from the calculation of the introduction of not more than 0.02% calcium and 0.05% rare-earth elements into the metal.
According to GOST 19281-89 and GOST 19282-73, it is allowed to add aluminum and titanium from the calculation of the mass fraction in the rolled aluminum - no more than 0.050%, titanium - no more than 0.030%.
According to GOST 5520-79, the mass fraction of arsenic can be up to 0.15% in the smelting of steel from the Kerch ore, while the mass fraction of phosphorus should not be more than 0.030%. At the request of the consumer, the mass fraction of sulfur should not exceed 0.025, 0.030 or 0.035%, and phosphorus 0.030 or 0.035%. When steel is smelted in electric furnaces, the mass fraction of nitrogen must be ≤ 0.012%.
According to TU 302.02.122-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grades 09G2SA and 09G2S-Sh. The total content of sulfur and phosphorus should not be more than 0.020%. Steel grade 09G2S according to TU 302.02.122-91 is characterized by a mass fraction of the following elements: sulfur ≤ 0.030%, phosphorus ≤ 0.035%, with the total mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus should not be more than 0.060%.
According to TU 14-3-1573-96 carbon equivalent of Se ≤ 0.46%.
According to TU 14-158-146-2004 the chemical composition is given for the ladle sample for the 1st level of the quality of the pipes. For pipes of the 2nd level of quality in the ladle sample, the mass fraction of sulfur is ≤ 0.010%, phosphorus ≤ 0.015%, nitrogen ≤ 0.010%.
According to TU 14-1-2072-77, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 09Г2С-Ш. When steel is smelted for consumable electrodes in electric steelmaking furnaces, the content of residual nitrogen in the metal is allowed up to 0.15%. With a nitrogen content of more than 0.008%, steel, regardless of category, must withstand the test for mechanical aging in accordance with GOST 19282.
According to TU 14-1-5034-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 09G2S. At the request of the consumer, the mass fraction should not exceed: sulfur - 0.025% and phosphorus - 0.025%. Permissible deviations in chemical composition - in accordance with GOST 19281.
