According to TU 14-3-1573-96, the carbon equivalent of Se ≤ 0.44%. It is allowed to introduce into the steel a technological additive silicocalcium or rare-earth materials (REM) at the rate of 0.5-2.0 kg per 1 ton of steel.
According to TU 14-158-146-2004 the chemical composition is given for the ladle sample for the 1st level of the quality of the pipes. For pipes of the 2nd level of quality in the ladle sample, the mass fraction of manganese = 1.30-1.80%, phosphorus ≤ 0.015%, nitrogen ≤ 0.006%.
