Steel 10KHNDP
Designation
Description
10KHNDP steel is used: for the manufacture of various welded structures in construction and engineering, is designed for use under normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures from -60 °C to +60 °C without the use of additional protective coatings; structural shapes for car building; construction, including roofing, cladding machines and mechanisms; freight cars, mine trolleys, roll-formed shapes, elements, industrial ventilation, packaging, supporting and bearing structures, pipes and other metal products and structures, used without a protective coating against corrosion when operating in the open air including a slightly aggressive media; bent profiles of power equipment.
Note
Hromonikelevoj low alloy steel with copper, atmosferostojkostju. The degree of deoxidation — SP.
Steel 10KHNDP provides strength class long products, strip and shaped rolled KP 345 in thicknesses up to 10 mm.
Steel 10KHNDP provides strength grade sheet, universal broadband rental and roll-formed profiles KP 345 with plate thickness of up to 10 mm. without the use of additional hardening treatment.
Standards
Chemical composition
According to GOST 17066-94, the mass fraction of arsenic is allowed up to 0.015%, with the mass fraction of phosphorus being not more than 0.030%.
According to GOST 19282-73, it is allowed to modify steel with calcium and rare-earth elements from the calculation of the introduction of not more than 0.02% calcium and 0.05% rare-earth elements into the metal. In the steel, cobalt is allowed up to 0.050%.
According to GOST 19281-89 and GOST 19282-73, it is allowed to add aluminum and titanium from the calculation of the mass fraction in the rolled aluminum - no more than 0.050%, titanium - no more than 0.030%.
According to TU 14-1-4941-90, in the finished rolled stock, if the requirements for mechanical properties are met, deviations in chemical composition are allowed (C -0.04 +0.02, Mn -0.15, Si -0.05 +0.10 ; Cr -0,05 + 0,10; Ni -0,05; Cu -0,05; P +0,03; S +0,005) at which an increased resistance of steels to atmospheric corrosion in an open atmosphere or a slightly aggressive environment without protection is provided from corrosion due to the total mass fraction of copper, phosphorus, chromium, nickel. At the request of the consumer, it is permitted to produce less than 4 mm thick rolled steel from grades 10ХНДПкп and 10ХНДПпс. The mass fraction of silicon in the boiling steel is not more than 0.05%, in the half-quartz steel it is within the range of 0.05-0.15%. In a calm steel, a technological addition of aluminum and titanium is introduced from the calculation of a residual mass fraction of aluminum of at least 0.08%, titanium is not more than 0.04%. The mass fraction of aluminum and titanium is recorded in the certificate and is not a rejection sign. Modification of the steel by one or more technological additives is possible, including natural alloyed materials, no more than 0,02% of the mass fraction of calcium (barium) in the steel, not more than 0,012% of the mass fraction of nitrogen, not more than 0,01% of the mass fraction rare earth elements, not more than 0.05% of the mass fraction of vanadium, not more than 0.01% of the mass fraction of niobium, not more than 0.15% of the mass fraction of cobalt, not more than 0.003% of the mass fraction of germanium, not more than 0.005% of the mass fraction of boron, not more than 0.15% of the mass fraction of arsenic. In the manufacture of rolled products with a thickness of more than 9.0 mm, the mass fraction of phosphorus in the steel can be reduced to 0.05%, and the mass fraction of chromium can increase to 1.0%.
In steel grade 10ХНДП according to TU 14-1-206-72, a technological addition of aluminum is introduced in order to maintain a residual content of at least 0.050% and ferrotitanium at a residual titanium content of at least 0.010%. For rolled products with a thickness of 12 mm or more, the phosphorus content should be in the range of 0.035-0.070%.
According to TU 14-1-389-72 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 10ХНДП. A technological addition of aluminum is introduced into the steel in order to obtain a residual aluminum content of at least 0.080%. The residual aluminum content is determined, is indicated in the certificate and is not a defective feature. Subject to all requirements of the technical specification, deviations in the content of alloying elements are allowed in accordance with GOST 5058, and in terms of phosphorus content + 0.030% in rolled products up to 8 mm thick. By agreement of the parties, it is allowed to supply steel without nickel (residual content up to 0.30%). In this case, the steel is marked with 10ХДП and the copper content is set within the range of 0.20-0.40%.
