Description
05ХГБ steel is used: for the production of welded longitudinal oil and gas pipes with improved corrosion resistance strength classes K48-K52, operated in the usual climatic conditions and regions of Siberia and the far North and used for the construction of oil-gathering system to transport corrosive gas, oil and formation water and petroleum products.
Note
The minimum temperature of the environment in the construction of pipelines or minus 60 °C.

Fe is the basis.
According to TU 1380-062-05757848-2014 in the presence of additional requirements, an increase in the titanium content of not more than 0.020% is allowed. The hydrogen content in the steel before pouring is no more than 2.5 ppm. The chemical composition of the steel is chosen in such a way that the carbon equivalent of Ce and the resistance parameter for cracking Pcm do not exceed 0.41% and 0.24%, respectively. Admissible deviations by elements: by carbon + 0.1%, by manganese ± 0.020%, by sulfur + 0.0010%, by phosphorus + 0.0030%, by nitrogen + 0.0030%, by silicon + 0.020%, by chromium + 0.020%, niobium + 0.0050%, aluminum + 0.010%.
