Steel 02Х17Н14М3
Designation
Description
02Х17Н14М3 steel is used: for the manufacture of rolled plates (6−20 mm); welded constructions working in the conditions of action of the boiling phosphoric, sulfuric, 10% acetic acid and sulfuric acid media; valves; welded vessels and apparatuses, working under pressure.
Note
Steel corrosion resistant austenitic class.
Marking 02Х17Н14М3-IN means that the steel vacuumnoperated.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-5071-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 02X17N14M3-VI. Deviations in chemical composition and content of residual elements (copper, tungsten, titanium, vanadium) - according to GOST 5632. It is allowed to introduce technological additions of cerium and calcium in an amount up to 0.050% each. The amount of cerium and calcium is calculated and chemical analysis is not determined, but is recorded in the quality document.
According to TU 14-1-5054-91 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 03X17N14M3-VO. The content of residual elements - copper, tungsten, titanium, vanadium - is allowed in accordance with GOST 5632. Cerium additions in the amount of 0.050%, calcium in an amount of 0.050% are allowed, the content of which is calculated and chemical analysis is not determined. In the melting sample and in finished rolled products deviations from the chemical composition are allowed in accordance with GOST 5632.
