Description

Alloy D23 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products by the method of deformation.

According to OST 1 90048-90 the chemical composition is given for alloy D23 (VAD23). Mass fraction of each other impurity (not regulated) ≤ 0.05%, total mass fraction of other impurities ≤ 0.10%.

Technological properties

Name The value
Weldability Alloy is trudnosmyvaemye, so its application to welded structures is reasonable only in cases where the possible heat treatment of the product.
