Alloy 1424 applied: for the production of sheets, extruded profiles, in particular hardened on the gutter press (ТГ2); riveted and welded structures of aerospace vehicles (plating and an internal set of fuselage, of welded elements of structures), thereby reducing the weight by 10−20%.

Note

Sredneprochny weldable corrosion resistant alloy of low density, high modulus of elasticity (d=2.54 mm g/cm³, E=80 GPA, σ_in>430−460 MPa, σ_0,2>290−350 MPa) and characteristics of fracture toughness, cracking resistance and heat stability with long-term solar heating.
