Alloy АМСН2
Designation
Description
Alloy АМСН2 used: for the production of cast billets, bars, rods, profiles, tubes, forgings, stampings and other products.
Standards
Chemical composition
Al is the base.
According to TU 1712-643-07510017-2010 the target chemical composition for the alloy of AMSN2 grade is given. When handing over the products, the chemical composition values should be: Fe = 0,09-0,21, Si = 0,069-0,165%, Cu ≤ 0,012%, Mn ≤ 0,0060%, Zn ≤ 0,032%, Ti ≤ 0,0056%, Mg ≤ 0.0340%, Cd≤ 0.000059%, B≤0.0023%. In the alloy AMCN2 the ratio of the mass fraction of iron to silicon should be not less than 1.2. By order of the consumer, it is possible to produce an alloy of grade AMSN2 with a mass fraction of zinc no more than 0.0050%.
For the production of the alloy AMCN2, aluminum grades A8 and A85 should be used in accordance with GOST 11069 (in aluminum grades A8 and A85, the Mn (manganese) content should not be more than 0.0020%, the Zn (zinc) content should not exceed 0.030%, the content of Ti titanium) not more than 0.0040%) and aluminum grades not lower than A95 and A97 in accordance with GOST 11069. Other aluminum grades of primary, similar chemical composition may be used.
